When it comes to gaming, there are two things you should consider to get the best experience: a monitor and a graphics card. The cost for these components can be hefty, but if done properly it will make your gaming life much more enjoyable. Nvidia recently released a new line of RTX graphics cards, which includes the GeForce RTX 3060 and the 3060 Ti. These cards seem to target the more mid-end market but are still powerful enough for some AAA titles.
These two versions are powerful enough to play games on 1080p and 1440p screens at high framerates. For the price, both the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti punches are way above their weight class. It provides performance that rivals and sometimes beats the 2080 Super (albeit for a higher cost). In this post, we will be looking at the best monitors for the GeForce RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti ranging from 1080p options to 1440p ultra-wide and 4k monitors.

Though the RTX 3060 / Ti is an entry-level GPU for 4k gaming, most gamers for sure won’t sacrifice the speed and smoothness over a high resolution. However, if you plan on getting a 4k for other purposes as you want to take advantage of the rendering power of the RTX 3060 / Ti for workstation as well as the need for GPU power to game occasionally, then this monitor is a great option.
The ASUS VP32UQ is a 31.5-inch monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160p. The display has an IPS panel and 100% sRGB coverage to provide vivid, accurate colors for everything you see on-screen. It also features HDR-ready capabilities that make games more immersive while bringing out details in shadowy areas without washing them all away as overly bright displays can sometimes do.
As the VP32UQ is VA-based instead of TN or IPS panels which are most common nowadays, it offers better viewing angles than many other models but isn’t perfect if you plan to share content often since blacks tend not to be very deep when compared to IPS panels. But for everyday use, it won’t be a big problem as it still provides a great visual experience.
The monitor is VESA mountable and comes with a fully adjustable stand, which can be tilted for optimal viewing comfort or to reduce glare from ambient light sources. Other features include Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync support, low blue light mode (to protect eyes), and an eye care mode that helps you enjoy long hours of gameplay in greater comfort by reducing brightness while at the same time minimizing reflections off the screen surface so it’s easier to see what’s going on around you as well as use less energy if needed. If you plan on getting a 4k monitor to pair with your GeForce RTX 3060 / Ti, this ASUS VP32UQ is the best for your money.

This will really depend on the games you want to play and how much money you’re willing to spend. If you’re looking to game at extremely high frame rates and don’t mind sacrificing some graphical fidelity, then a 1080p monitor will do just fine. In addition, 1080p monitors are also a lot cheaper compared to 1440p and 4K options.
1440p on the other hand offers a significant bump in graphical fidelity and is becoming increasingly popular among gamers. However, you cannot achieve as many frame rates as you can with a 1080p monitor. In my opinion, 1440p is a good balance between smooth casual gameplay and excellent visuals, but it’s not recommended if you want to go competitive using the 3060 or 3060 Ti graphics card.
Lastly, 4K is reserved for those who play slow-paced games that don’t require achieving a high frame rate to be enjoyable. It is also great for graphics designing, video editing, and general media consumption. However, 4K monitors tend to be a lot more expensive than both 1080p and 1440p monitors.
It always comes down to personal preference. You should choose a monitor that is applicable to your needs.
Whether you are looking for a 4K monitor for graphic design or want to enjoy the best possible gaming experience with your GeForce RTX 3060 / Ti, there is definitely a monitor out there for you. We hope our guide has helped you find the perfect model to suit your needs.
